Parenting and Early Childhood in the Pandemic

TEDxCambridgeUniversity’s event ‘The New Normal’ featured a talk from PEDAL PhD candidate Sabilah Eboo Alwani.

This is a recording of Sabilah’s talk on Parenting and Early Childhood in the Pandemic. Sabilah’s research examines the relationship between parenting and early childhood development, including the themes of resilience and play. She is a longstanding practitioner in the fields of education, media, and development, and is writing a book on good parenting and the new science of Early Childhood.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this TEDxCambridgeUniversity Salon considered whether we will return to ‘normal’ any time soon, and if we may have to reimagine the way we connect and adapt to a ‘new normal’. The Salon also featured talks from Aqil Jaigirdar, Sulaiman Iqbal and Joana Baptista. Details on the other speakers from this Salon can be found on the TEDxCambridgeUniversity website

This talk was recorded on 2nd February 2021.
