Mobilise is a groundbreaking programme designed to help those making and delivering policy to harness the power of academic research to address today’s most pressing policy challenges.
Mobilise brings together changemakers from academia, policy and practice with a shared interest in early childhood. Through carefully curated activities, each cohort of changemakers will learn from and with each other, from evidence, and from children. They will be supported to use this learning in their work to drive change for children.
A programme of varied learning opportunities.
Mobilise consists of a diverse range of learning opportunities over a six-month period. The most intensive elements of the programme will be three “accelerator days” in Cambridge where participants learn about the latest research and consider how to drive change. Participants will also receive bespoke briefings, videos and webinars. During the programme, participants will have the opportunity to have 1-to-1 conversations with leading academics who can bring useful insights and expertise to inform their work.
A programme focussed on helping people to make a difference.
Mobilise will use an action-learning approach. Participants will be supported to apply learning in decisions and actions, to reflect on this, and to share progress throughout the programme.
Every cohort will cover core content on early childhood development. Beyond that, to ensure the programme is as relevant and useful as possible, the content of the programme will be co-produced with participants. Every activity will be designed with a focus on mobilising knowledge to make a difference for children.
