Yuanrong Wang is a first-year PhD student supervised by Professor Sara Baker. Her research focuses on the relationships between children’s working memory and fact-checking behaviour. Before joining PEDAL, Yuanrong completed an MSc in Child Development and Education at the University of Oxford and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Beijing Normal University in China. Her previous research experience includes investigating children’s word learning and statistical learning mechanisms, as well as examining the effects of GenAI on college students’ cognitive processes.
