Tom King

Tom is a Research Associate in the PEDAL team, working closely with Dr. Christine O’Farrelly and Dr. Nicole Creasey. His work within PEDAL is funded by NHS England and focuses on identifying the common elements of attachment- and psychodynamic-based parenting intervention for 0-5 year olds.
Tom initially trained as a mental health nurse, before undertaking a Master’s in Psychiatry at the University of Oxford and his PhD at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. His background includes research across child and adolescent mental health, including school-based interventions, anxiety disorders, and integrated paediatric and mental health care.
