Sydney Conroy

Sydney is a former PEDAL PhD student supervised by Prof Paul Ramchandani. She previously worked as a play therapist in the U.S., with experience in community mental health agencies and group private practice.

Her work centres children’s voices and experiences in mental health care and healing.

During her doctoral research, she examined play therapists’ experiences and perceptions of children’s wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic, collective trauma, and child-centred play therapy.
