Stephanie is a former PEDAL PhD student and worked with Prof Jenny Gibson and Prof Nidhi Singal.
Stephanie explored a South African Pedagogy for Play for autistic learners, focusing on exploration, enjoyment and empowerment. She is now based at the University of Oxford’s Department of Education as a Postdoctoral Researcher, investigating culturally sensitive methods to understand how students conceptualize hope for higher education in contexts of political and environmental precarity.
