Mélanie is a Research Associate at the Faculty of Education, working with Professor Jenny Gibson on AI for Education, Evidence and Policy.
Mélanie completed her PhD at the Faculty of Education under the supervision of Professor Jenny Gibson. The mixed methods study she pursued investigated issues of diversity and inclusion in health care workforce (more specifically speech and language therapists) under a Transformative Research paradigm. Mélanie trained as a speech and language therapist and has worked as a consultant for the World Health Organization’s disability programme for over 4 years on projects to advance disability inclusion in the health sector.
