Kate is a 1st year PhD student supervised by Prof Paul Ramchandani (Faculty of Education) and Dr Kathryn Hesketh (MRC Epidemiology Unit). Her research will explore risky play in UK preschoolers and its impact on young children’s health. Before joining PEDAL, she completed an MPhil in Population Health Sciences (University of Cambridge) and an MA in Early Year Education (University College London). She also has extensive professional experience as an early childhood researcher and practitioner in the UK, Colombia and Ukraine.
