Kate is a second year PhD student supervised by Prof Paul Ramchandani (Faculty of Education) and Dr Kathryn Hesketh (MRC Epidemiology Unit). Her research explores risky play in UK preschoolers, focusing on early childhood educational environments.

Before joining PEDAL, she completed an MPhil in Population Health Sciences (University of Cambridge) and an MA in Early Year Education (University College London). She also has extensive professional experience as an early childhood practitioner in the UK, Colombia and Ukraine.
