Eleanor is a Research Associate in the PEDAL team, working with Professor Jenny Gibson and colleagues in the Departments of Zoology and Computer Science and Technology on the E-TAP project – the Evidence-Traceable AI Pipeline. Funded by the MacArthur Foundation, E-TAP aims to develop trusted databases of peer-reviewed evidence that policymakers can explore with support from an AI copilot.

Eleanor holds a PhD in developmental psychology from the University of Cambridge. Her subsequent research has focused on human–computer interaction and the role of technology within systems and organisations, spanning educational, domestic and industrial settings.
