Abbas AlAbbas

Abbas is a second year PhD student supervised by Professor Paul Ramchandani. His research explores how child engagement can be facilitated in the context of divorce and separation.

Abbas previously completed an MPhil which was also supervised by Professor Paul Ramchandani, and his research explored the relationship between early exposure to sensitive parenting practices and the development of narrative coherence in young children using projective methodologies. Prior to joining PEDAL, owing to his previous academic background in law, Abbas completed a BPS-accredited psychology conversion programme through which he undertook research around co-parenting in high-conflict relationships.
