Abbas AlAbbas

Abbas is a first year PhD student supervised by Professor Paul Ramchandani. His research will employ play-based methodologies to study young children’s narratives around their family lives in the context of parental conflict.

He recently completed an MPhil, which was also supervised by Professor Paul Ramchandani, and his research explored how early exposure to sensitive parenting practices affected the development of narrative coherence in young children. Prior to joining PEDAL, owing to his previous academic background in law, Abbas completed a BPS-accredited psychology conversion programme wherein he undertook research around divorce and separation.
