Brittney Chere

Brittney is a Research Associate currently working on the Healthy Start, Happy Start follow-up study and the PlayBack study within PEDAL.

Brittney is currently a Research Associate working on the Healthy Start, Happy Start follow-up study and the Playback study at PEDAL.

The aim of both projects is to help caregivers/teachers become more sensitive to their children/students via a video-feedback program in order to best promote the children’s development and outcomes.

Brittney holds a Master’s in Educational Neuroscience from UCL’s Institute of Education and a PhD in Psychology from Birkbeck’s Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development.

Her Master’s and PhD work focused on understanding how the home environment, particularly in-home noise, affects infant attention and adolescent executive function, with implications for how this relates to formal learning and academic success.
